Removing and installing Hoster does not delete your KMA (song) files. The only way you could have done that is if you restored back to before you had imported them. Did you look in the folder I told you to look in? That would be where Hoster moved them.

i think you've lost them when you did a system restore, i'm not sure if this will work..but maybe if you can undo the system restore, and do another system before you imported imported all your kma file to c:drive..if i were you i will put all my kma files on an ext. drive just incase something like this happens again..maybe Dale can correct me if i am wrong about undoing the system restore..im kinda comfused too..if its before or after..

I don't think you can undo a Restore. Billyo is right though in that most of us keep our songs on an external or second drive so that the C: doesn't get filled up with song files. This allows the C: drive to have plenty of space for operating your programs without slowing down.

Removing or reinstalling Hoster will NOT remove your KMA files. Removing a program can ONLY remove what was installed, not what was created after installation.
I expect when you did the restore back to a prior point, and THEN loaded more KMA files in, that is when you overwrote your prior files. We are all sorry this has happened. It would be best to save your KMA files on an external USB drive. FYI... we sell our 500GB small format USB drive for $299. Forgive me for being commercial at such a time, but now is the to make a decision. |
