i am using the plextor 740/a 1.02, latest firmware and drivers. i tried several cd's, some brand new. the demo recorded and burned everyhing i tried, the program hardly will get through any one track. the program reads and plays the discs without problem, it just can't seem to record properly. i think there is a 5 second pace between tracks, it records that nicely but then closes when it starts to record the track.

Uninstall the program and try another download. You may have gotten a corrupted download.

not yet, now i'm having trouble with the dvd reader, it keeps shutting down. i'm not sure why, but it may have to do with the usb connection. i'm don't know if my computer has usb2.0 or is still the 1.1 or older. i just haven't had the time to mess with it. thanks for asking, i will be on the forum when i can get back to working on my music.
