Mark Song function Not Working

I am running 3.3 and I still have the problem also. I also had the problem in earlier versions.

This problem was fixed in 3.300, as testified by ddouglas' post above. It is very hard for me to believe that it still exists. This is very simple code...

Did you REMOVE the 3.120 or prior version you ran before installing 3.300?

If not, please do so now, test the Mark Song and post your results back here.

We will have a programmer review the code again if you still have the problem after doing a REMOVE and INSTALL again.

I just tried mine using 3.300, and here's a copy and paste from Notepad of what I got. Exactly as it should be..........

Very interesting. That is telling me there is something on your computer that is causing this.

MTUSUPPORT needs to address this with you. If we can discover what is causing this on your computer, he can build a FAQ to address it in the future.

Can't say from a programming standpoint, but had no adverse effects deleting the MARK SONG .txt file.

First I deleted the entire file and experienced no problems importing a track or playing.

Then I set up a new .txt file with two songs in it, highlighted and deleted just one of the entries, also with no problems.

George, I don't think anyone has had a problem importing or playing a track. The problem is with recording "all" of the required information when you "Mark Song".

How did you set up a new marksong.txt file? By using the Mark Song function or just using Windows "New Text File" feature to create an empty "marksong.txt" file?

The problem only happen to me once (I have only deleted the file once) and it is only the first couple of entries. After that the file has behaved itself and recorded all data for the entries. So currently I have 2 entries with just the note text and 4 or five full entries.

Admin please re-read my post as I said I DIDN'T have the problem show up until after I upgraded to 3.3. As added information this only happened after deleting the text file after I had fixed all the problem songs.
