I am on the normal playlist display. While I am playing a KMA song, if I do the any of the following, the song will continue to be heard, however the timer will freeze until the following actions are complete.

There is nothing that can be done in these cases. This is a WINDOWS limitation. We'll take a look at our Interrupt Priorities, but from what you and George have posted here, this is the EXPECTED BEHAVIOR.
