If you ever need to restore from your CDROMs, you will need to run Build Songs Database (Tools menu command).

It would make no sense to backup your Songs Database to CDROM. It is unlikely it would be useable if you restored all the CDROM files back. Just rebuild it.

You could also do this on DVD Rom's, as you could get about 5 cds worth on one DVD.

What about a Ghost Image of your HD. Wouldn't this take much less space and CD's?

I think you can if you use CD-RW and the disc is formatted to allow drag & drop type writing. Maybe someone who knows for sure how this is done will chime in.

I don't think that you can ghost it to a CDR and it work correctly, its gotta be a HD for it work correctly. As far as I know and have seem from Experience.
