Re: When importing a CDG disc tracks Hoster crashes
I have experienced this too, but it usually is with rather beat up cdg discs, or if someone gives me an audio only cd. Hoster seems to freak out if it can't find the graphics and either locks up completely or throws error messages and shuts down.
Also SC discs seem to cause some minor problems too. Especially if they have that stupid "thank You for purchasing Sound Choice" screen that pops up when you load the disc. Even with a 3.0 GHZ pentium and a gig of ram, that **** pop up makes my music skip when it appears. |

Re: When importing a CDG disc tracks Hoster crashes
You can turn off Autorun on the drive to stop this screen from popping up. If using XP the standard Drive Properties Autoplay option never seems to work. You can down load the Tweak UI program from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx It Does stop the auto Play option on CD's. When in Doubt about any option and changing it "DON'T DO IT" seems to work best. You can send a private Message if you have questions. |

Re: When importing a CDG disc tracks Hoster crashes
This also happened to me last Friday night with a brand new disc ( not copied). This was the first show after I upgraded directx to 9.0c. Seems to have worked fine before.

Re: When importing a CDG disc tracks Hoster crashes
Did you try to load the CDG like you would a KMA?
If so, I think that was the reason for the crash. A scratched CD just wouldn't play right. Loading the CDG into a playlist is the way the program is designed to operate. It's good have a special list for this so you can set it to delete after playing, or do it manually. |
