In addition to the two /three prong adapter, make sure you are not connected to cable TV. Where I KJ, I have a 13" screen on stage for the singers and I am also connected to a larger screen up behind me that is for the audience to see. I have to make sure that the cable is disconnected from that TV or I get a loud hum also.
