There is a way to go into 98 and turn off AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATION. Perhaps you can seach the forums while I play with my other p.c(98SE) and see if I can remember how.

Got it.
Open Control Panel System Device Manager Open CDROM Right click on a drive Settings Uncheck AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATION Do that for each cd/cdr drive. It is recommended with 98/98SE that this be off anyway to keep from possible interference when copying cdg's. Take care, George
