Can you play audio with any other program?

This sounds like your computer does not have a multimedia audio device installed.

Can you play a CDG song with the Play Tab in Microstudio, or your Windows Media Player with a WAV file? If not, install an audio card in your computer and install its multimedia drivers.

If you can play sound with other programs, post back here (actually please post either way so we know this is solved or ongoing).
