KHP v. 2.009

I have just installed KHP v. 2.009 but cannot get any sound when I press the "Place Lyrics" button. The screen with my words appears but that's it. No music plays. I have completely un-installed and re-installed the program 3 or 4 times and still no music! Help! I can move the sweep by pressing the space bar but there is no sound. I used Microstudio 2.311 to get the .wav file from a CD+G disk. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can you play audio with any other program?

This sounds like your computer does not have a multimedia audio device installed.

Can you play a CDG song with the Play Tab in Microstudio, or your Windows Media Player with a WAV file? If not, install an audio card in your computer and install its multimedia drivers.

If you can play sound with other programs, post back here (actually please post either way so we know this is solved or ongoing). :w

Sound Problem with KHP

I think I figured it out. I re-"ripped" the file using Microstudio 2.311 and tried it again. It worked! Possibly there was something wrong with the initial install in which I "ripped" the song file the first time. So it may have been a corrupt .WAV file. I need to "play" with the program some more to see if it continues to work or if there is some reason for audio files to work and others not to work. Thanks for your quick reply to my post. I can tell that I am going to get good support from you guys! I will keep you posted on this "problem" if I see some pattern forming.
Again, my thanks.

Steve K.
