The problem appears to be with .wma files that the anniversary update is having problems with.
Kma format is an envelope containing .wma music file plus the cdg graphic file plus additional data to index them. You might find if you choose to import them as KMH and then choose either MP3+G or Zip mp3+G in the "Import as" selection box. Haven't tried it myself as I'm not running the anniversary edition but worth a try.
