Just so I understand this right, are you saying it only reports drive not ready when using a custom burned disc ?
Gremlins I have tried a couple of custom disc myself with no problem detecting the drive so can't think what the issue is here.
I have informed support on your first post, they are looking into it and will most likely read this post.

One thing might be worth trying, seeing if there is an updated driver available for your cd rom.

Thanks Roy, I did this before with no problem. Both cdroms work great with other programs. I also tried my laptop and I get the same message. If I remember right, I didn't have a problem with Hoster 5.32 Thanks Alan
