Hoster doesn't proper songs
 

I have been using hoster a long time and have never run into this problem. First I keep getting the error that drive not ready. Then I burned a cd-r and now I get the wrong songs when I try using the singers disc. I used Microstudio and I get the correct songs. The type of file I am using are bin files. Anyone have any ideas? The drive not ready you see will allways show when no disc is in the drive, if you still get that open Tools/CD/DVD drives dialog, at the bottom where it reads "Default read drive" even if it shows correct use the drop down arrow on the right and reselect it then press save, this will reset the registry key for that.

Regarding you getting the wrong song, it is most likely to do with this new feature will look up an online database for your disc id if your disc is not a manufacturers own or a copy of it should ask you to input the title, it may be confusing your self burnt tracks with an online disc id.
(You would not have had this problem before because you always had to enter it manually)
There is a box appears when loading a singers disc to enter the title which should then appear in the playlist with the title you select.
There is no way for it to automatically input the correct title if you are loading a custom burnt disc.

I have noticed myself that when entering a custom disc sometimes the artist column will enter a wrong name but again there is no way for Hoster to know this from a custom burn but it should enter unknown I will bring this to supports attention.

Hi Dennis, I am using a custom disc. It works as designed with a manufacturers disc. what I mean is that when I try to play a song from the singers burned disc, I get drive not ready, even there is a disc in the drive. If I use microstudio it recognizes the cd rom and shows 2 songs and they play okay. I uninstalled hoster and re-installed it with no difference. I hope I am not missing anything!! Thanks Alan

Just so I understand this right, are you saying it only reports drive not ready when using a custom burned disc ?
Gremlins :e I have tried a couple of custom disc myself with no problem detecting the drive so can't think what the issue is here.
I have informed support on your first post, they are looking into it and will most likely read this post.

One thing might be worth trying, seeing if there is an updated driver available for your cd rom.

Thanks Roy, I did this before with no problem. Both cdroms work great with other programs. I also tried my laptop and I get the same message. If I remember right, I didn't have a problem with Hoster 5.32 Thanks Alan
