Post Hoster 5.07 Problems Here

I never have anything running in the background. I stopped using 5.07 a month ago. I have been using 5.08B1 with no crashes. It crashed only when using BA (I would stop & start it several times) & also used Tempo during the same Show. I have been running BA the last 4 shows with no problems, but I also I turn down the volume & keep BA running, when I have to play a disk in my separate player (instead of hitting Stop). [/quote]

I see. Because the only thing I have been doing different the last four shows is that I have completely disabled McAfee and VirtualDJ.

Last night I put VirtualDJ back into the picture by playing a video and an mp3 with slideshow before the show and left it on and up as I usually do. For the 4th consecutive night with McAfee disabled, I had no crashes. I even played a song from the songlist using the yellow play button when the current song had less than two seconds to go and that didn't start any trouble. Did a lot of songlist editing and movement and instabutton playing too. I'll continue this or Wed. and Thurs. gig and hope for the best. Then I'll put McAfee back on again and see what happens. It just seems that so far when McAfee has been disabled that I have remained "crash-less".

Before this, there were crashes on both 5.07 and 5.08betas too.

Anyone else out there run shows with 5.07 and have McAfee enabled. On new computers, the only way to not have it on is to uncheck it from the startup services.
