I only only just joined the forum and am hoping someone can give me some advice with my 2 remaining problems:
1. I am unable to listen to the audio track of a song that is selected in the search window. I have TWO sound cards; one assigned to the main play list and the other to search audio card. Both sound cards are working.
I click the search button on the main hoster play/control screen, this opens the search song database screen shown on page 10 of the manual (bottom half of page). I highlight the buttons title, artist, karaoke and type in a search string e.g. bon jovi. When I press enter or hit tab I get a list of matching songs that show up in the results list. So far all good. If I highlight ANY one song then click the preview play button to listen to the song via the second sound card I get the error 'cannot open zip file' in a popup window. If I click add to add the song to the main playlist I can return to the main control screen and play that same song with no problem. The song files are all CDG and MP3 file pairs zipped as .zip files. Note I do not used brand or book id's. These are system defaulted to unknown and XYZ... etc. Any ideas?
2. I am using the index HD files function to import my files into the database.
Importing of .zip files went fine and file count was correct. When I try to import video files it correctly finds the files in their recpective folders (include sub folders is checked) BUT they are listed in the import window twice. I am importing .vob and .mpg files. I generate only kmh files. The files are definitely NOT duplicated.
If I just go to each individual folder one at a time the import is fine. Seems to be related to checking the include sub folders option.
Any ideas on what this could be?

Only question I have is on the videos. When you have selected include sub-folders and they showed twice each in the import screen, did you check in the Search for videos and see if they were listed twice with two different BookIDs or are they listed just once? Reason I ask is to help MTU narrow down where to look.
I am thinking these may be over-looked bugs and if so then MTU should be able to duplicate and correct.
When you are trying to prevue a song in search, are you playing any songs in the playlist? Your system, being a laptop and with only 3GB memory, may not be able to handle both sound card outputs.
