Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
To Admin: Thanks. Do me a favor, check my downloads, I did not download that many times. Someone must have hacked into my account. I have had one desktkop since 2004 and only did the updates till now when it crashed. I had a Gateway laptop the I started with and that acted up till 2007 when I bought a new Toshiba and changed it over.
I would NEVER let anyone hack it. I did have one friend that wanted to, but I said no. Why should I pay for it and someone use it for free. There is enough out there that are not legal and taking jobs away from us that are legal. That's another subject that sets me off, sorry. I probably have no more that 10 total downloads. I love your probram and the way you take ideas from customers. You used a one of mine. Love it. I used 4.20 with the Background music and sound effects. Great program. I work alone and only use the laptop. By the way, I still can't download 4.20. It want me to pay the $69.95. Thank Jim I did send in 2 repaitr tickets. |

Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
Quote:
MTUSUPPORT changed your "Upgrade Install Date" to INSURE you can install 4.22 (we do NOT support 4.20 as it was a bugged version that 4.22 fixed). I hope you included exact error or other messages in your Ticket, cause from where I sit, there is no reason you can't do an UPGRADE over your current install. Now, if you try to install 4.32, then you will get the message to upgrade. |

Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
I sent in 2 requests to support because I still can't upgrade to 4.22. I did not receive and answer, so I thought I would try here again.
It sends me over to the $69.95 upgrade page. You said you reset it but still doesn't work. What is wrong? Jim |

Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
Jim, did you receive the automatic response saying they had received your ticket? If not then you need to chack your spam/junk folder in your email. Also make sure you don't have MTU blocked.

Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
I had a mini crash, well, not really a crash, but my computer went to my back up drive after my main hard drive giggled a little. After resolving that minor issue, Hoster went BACK to version 4.20, I had already upgraded to 4.32. Now when I go to Hoster, My Account, Hoster does NOT recognize my email address. What gives? I have been a member of Hoster for 7 years, How do I get Hoster to RE recognize my email address ????? I would like to re install my 4.32 version. I thank you in advance. I am also going to try to submit a support ticket,

Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
Sounds like the back-up drive wasn't quite as up to date as thought it was it it only had version 4.20 on it.
Did you change email addresses between originally installing 4.20 and 4.32? Are you trying to log into your account on MTU or are you meaning that when you try to reinstall 4.32 that Hoster doesn't recognize your email address?

Re: Can’t reinstall the same version as before.
Granted, I did not update my backup drive when I upgraded to 4.32. However, on my main drive, 4.32 is gone, including the icon to install. Should have made a backup disc. But, when I try to log in to My Account @ MTU, my email address is not recognized. When I request a " forgot password " it says "error" Does not recognize my email address. I have sent a Support Ticket request, and received the usual " your request has been received. But, no action yet. This is not an emergency, but, it is an inconvenience. Would like to get back to status quo.
