Also you have already told me You can't help with the shutting down, MTU is working on that.
And the solution to my marquee problem was, bad video card
Crazycarl
I did not say you had a bad video card. I said "Your background color problem is not a Hoster problem. It is a problem with either your video card settings or with your monitor." It could be nothing more than a setting.
There are so many types and configurations of computers that there is no way I can know what exactly you have for components or how you have your computer parameters set. I don't know why you cannot change your colors in the marquee and only the marquee. But since you are the only one having this problem then either it is your computer, something is not installed correctly or you are not making the changes correctly. I am not there with you to be able to determine which and neither is support.
The shutdowns only occur at the end of a song, and as others have reported it is random, but does not disrupt their shows.

Re: Hoster 4.32 first run

Carl, you don't need to be bantering Dale here.

First, you sent an EMAIL to sales... that is one of your complaints. That is NOT one of the ways to get Support; i.e. you did not follow our clear instructions on our Support page.

Second, when you submit a 2nd, 3rd, etc. ticket onto your 1st ticket, it bumps your DATE to the current date. We answer the oldest tickets first. So, don't submit more on the same Ticket. If you submit a NEW Ticket for the same problem that only delays our answering the first.

Please be forewarned, we don't deal well with continued insults, which you have done to us for years now. We provide the best support in the Karaoke software industry. You didn't buy your computer from MTU so it is harder to try and get you working.

We have answered your Sales and Support Tickets, and will post them here shortly, in case you don't get our emails. You will see you never mentioned the "Marque color" problem to MTU, only to your peers.

If you need our help in the future, submit a SUPPORT (not Sales) ticket and we will do our best to answer you. If it is not our software, we probably can't help you.

Unhappy Re: Hoster 4.32 first run

I purchased my laptop from MTU, my Hoster program shuts down on me at least twice a show sometimes more. It is always after the song is over. Now it has started stopping the music during a song for about a half a second and then starts right back up. It is just enough to mess up a singer. It doesn't do it often but once is too much. Last night it did it once and shut down on me three times. I have not changed anything or added any new software to this laptop it only has the software that MTU installed. I have done all windows upgrades and installed the hoster upgrade.

Susan try what Roy Dennis posted about the fade settings.

"Regarding your shut downs after song plays, open Tools/Audio Controls and set the fade durations to be 1.5 or greater for both boxes, Auto delay can be what you prefer, press OK. this may help with that problem."

Re: Hoster 4.32 first run

The issue Susan is referring to is a bug. We have fixed this and it will be released in version 5.0.
