Thanks a ton! I really appreciate your help.  GB P.S. I checked out the instructions and there is NO WAY I would go through all those steps in hopes of everything turning out perfect. OS replacement is the perferable soultion.  (Death to Vista  ).

The only way to replace the OS would be to go up to Windows 7 and basically all the same steps have to be done with it.
