Do you have Auto Updates set up to run or are you not doing those either? I would highly recommend you do the Custom Updates and get your computer up-to-date especially SP3. Is this a recent development (not playing disks) or has it been happening for a while? If you can remember when it started then you should be able to Restore your computer back to a date just before that and that may fix it. Then do your Microsoft updates. Are you getting any kind of error message or indication when it doesn't play the disk files?
