If you are trying to install the current version, then the solutions posted apply to both Vista and XP. Especially the part about doing a Custom Update from the Microsoft Update site and installing all of them.
If you are trying to install a version prior to 4.000 then no it isn't compatible with Vista and will not install.

Next time please start your own thread instead of replying to an old one that isn't related.
