Strange as this may sound, I think perhaps your power management settings
are wrong.....(ie. screen saver, and the like)

I had it set to "Never" for power and a few hours for battery. That was my first thought too.
No screen saver or other program are open when that happens.
I haven't tried it yet after I defraged the drive. Will do that later and let you know.
I have an idea that there may not be enough space on the hard drive left for the files to move around, or I may need more Ram. What do you think about that possibility?
