Re: running videohoster 5.06 on old hardware?

I agree with Roy, 480MB RAM is a bit on the shy side... However... it just may run. XP doesn't require much RAM, unlike Windows 7.

Instead of version 5.06, you want to run the 5.07 demo. Just click the DEMO link in the Hoster Upgrade page and it will deliver 5.07.

One new feature we added into 5.07 is that we change your Hoster.exe (runtime executable that is 3.110 for you) into HosterPrior.exe and create a Desktop icon for it, then Hoster.exe is installed (5.07) so you have BOTH, and can run one at a time (don't run both).

The 5.07 Demo will not bother your 3.110 so both can be on your XP.

As to the Macbook, Apple lost Steve Jobs. Who knows what direction they will now take.

Microsoft Windows still has 95% of the market, and Apple 5%. We have no plans to support Apple's OS X, but as Roy wrote, Hoster does run on Bookcamp.
