Unhappy Re: Wild Card (*) Missing with update

I know I'm being a pain, but the * was such a great feature. As an example, I'm having a Valentine Karaoke Party and I'm picking songs that will reflect the theme. If I had the * as it used to be I could create a playlist by sorting through the different songs and playing them and then keeping of rejecting them. I can sort by title, artist, and by genre. I could also sort by duet and multiplex in case someone wanted to try out the song. Once I put them on the playlist, I could listen to the song, change the key and if multiplex, I could learn the song. It was quick and straight forward. I could then cull from the playlists and I would be ready to have fun with the using Hoster.

Of course I'm not a professional, so I don't understand what the "problem" was with the use of the * and the singer's list. I use Hoster for home use and don't have 10,000 songs or lots of singer lists. I just know Hoster worked great as it was.

Roy, thanks for your input, I've decided to keep the current version and try to operate without the *, and hope the * function will return to Hoster.
