This one folder that you have the 52k files in, how large is it, under My Computer? I think that Windows might have a limit to the size of the folder, I want to say it is around 40gbs of data in each folder is the max, before Windows will have problems.
You might try a smaller amount in one folder and see if it will work. Also what version of Hoster are you running? Click on the Help Menu\About Hoster it will give you the version.
