DL,
You do not want clone mode. You want EXTENDED DESKTOP. Clone mode will put everything on the second monitor, shortcust, toolbars, etc.. You only want the background Have the remote tv hooked up and turned on. Right click anywhere on a blank spot on your desktop. Click PROPERTIES. Click the SETTINGS tab. You should see two monitors, number one and number two. Click on number two to highlight it. Check the box that says: EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP ONTO THIS MONITOR. Click o.k. Hope this gets it for you.
