THERE IS A CHECK BOX on the screen properties that outs it in the clone mode rather than the extend mode.

I play my videos on the second monitor...... in the extended mode. you have to strech it over there once. and size it to the screen. after that it remembers where you want it to display. It does a great job also.

I use the CORE media player and it works great.... just drag the view window to the 2nd monitor and hit the "Z" key to go full screen, "X" to start and pause...

Here's a Karaoke Commercial: http://www.dkusa.com/video/budlight.wmv

Hi Beavis

Beside doing karaoke, I also play Music Videos.
Power Point, and Video the people on the dance
floor. I have a giant 7X10 foot screen that I use.

DL,

You do not want clone mode. You want EXTENDED DESKTOP. Clone mode will put everything on the second monitor, shortcust, toolbars, etc..

You only want the background

Have the remote tv hooked up and turned on.

Right click anywhere on a blank spot on your desktop.

Click PROPERTIES.

Click the SETTINGS tab.

You should see two monitors, number one and number two.

Click on number two to highlight it.

Check the box that says: EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP ONTO THIS MONITOR.

Click o.k.

Hope this gets it for you.

Yes if i have to

PastMember March 26th, 2006 06:04 PM

You can play videos FULL SCREEN on the EXTENDED desktop only with CORE media player and use single keystrokes to control it.

I do this all the time in karaoke.

Why not just use the Video player that is built into Hoster? This is in Version 3.300 or above.

It works great and uses the dual display just like Hoster does. Also then your videos can be stored in your same Playlists.
