Mark Song function Not Working
My Mark Song Text File seems to have a problem...When I open to view my notes it has the note I typed, but not the bookid title and artist related to that note. I did type the note while the song is playing.
Any sugestions ? |

I have had this same problem for quite some time. I have posted the issue several times but this seems to not be priority to Hoster Support Team.

I had this happen after I had deleted the file to clear it for new entries. The first couple of entries didn't have the BookId, Title, or Artist listed, but when I used the file the second nite all the entries were added.
Could it be that we need to create a blank text file after deleting the old one to make this work right?

It should just work, as all it is doing is putting the Database Information into a .txt file.
I will send this to them to look at again.

This bug was found in Hoster 3.120. It was identified and fixed in Hoster 3.300 Beta 7.
If you haven't upgraded to 3.300, please do so. If you have upgraded and are running 3.300 and still have this problem, please post back here as we didn't fix the bug if it is still present. |

I am running version 3.3 and actually didn't have the problem show up in the earlier versions.

Did you REMOVE the 3.120 or prior version you ran before installing 3.300? ![]() If not, please do so now, test the Mark Song and post your results back here. We will have a programmer review the code again if you still have the problem after doing a REMOVE and INSTALL again. |

We'll have to get a programmer to check on what happens when you delete the .txt file after it is created.

Can't say from a programming standpoint, but had no adverse effects deleting the MARK SONG .txt file.
First I deleted the entire file and experienced no problems importing a track or playing. Then I set up a new .txt file with two songs in it, highlighted and deleted just one of the entries, also with no problems. George |

![]() The problem only happen to me once (I have only deleted the file once) and it is only the first couple of entries. After that the file has behaved itself and recorded all data for the entries. So currently I have 2 entries with just the note text and 4 or five full entries. ![]()

Wanted to make certain nothing else was affected by deleting .txt files.
Used Mark Song function to set up new file. George |
