3.319 Upgrade Failed
I upgraded to 3.319 on 2/22/08 on restart Microsoft must move my kma files. Next popup says files moved safely. When I try to open Hoster I get the same two popups.
I am running XP on a Dell Laptop Inspiron E1705, internal hard drive, fully updated. I am a singer and have about 1000 songs. My (song) files all end in .kma In the last hour or so, I removed the 3.319 version I installed on 2/22. I installed the 3.316 version from my backup. Now the Hoster program will start up, but when I play the first song I get "c:\Program Files\Micro Technoligies Unlimited\Hoster\Songs\LG101.10kma track missing" Thank you for your help, Gary |

My files are still there
My files are all there.
But they have \Program Files\ in there and I thought I saw something about removing \Program Files\ from registry. I'm not sure how to do this part. I'll be leaving this morning but will be back around noon. Gary |

Rebuild your database to the location that 3.319 moved them to.

Find the location where the files are, then open the Build database window and add the path to the list and delete the other one. Then rebuild.

Read MTU's final analysis of what has been going on, and what to do to prevent loosing files in the future.
