MTU: won't respond to registration code issue

I've been running v 5.35.01 on my two computers. I upgraded to 5.40.01 on my desktop but not on my laptop. I then upgraded to windows 10 on both machines. I have no problem with 5.40 on my desktop but when I went to upgrade my laptop to 5.40 I get a message that I have exceeded the number of computer I can install Hoster on. Now, I was running Hoster on both machines with no problems until I tried to upgrade. I only have two computers. Well, when I did the install I selected uninstall Hoster. I thought then I would be able to reinstall 5.40. But no, I still get same response. It redirects me to MTU website. Registration code and computer name is correct. I have been waiting 3 days for a response from MTU but as of now, notta! Is there any way I can get either versions reinstalled on my laptop? I have a gig coming up and need this done.

It sounds like you lucked out with the desktop. They have been saying that you need to uninstall Hoster while online before you upgrade to Windows 10 or you may have the results you got with the laptop. Have you submitted a support ticket?

Yes, I have entered two requests but no response. So, do you have any thoughts? Surely this can't be that big of a problem.

When you install Windows 10 without first removing Hoster, it makes it look like it is a new computer that you are adding Hoster to. The only remedy is to have your registration reset so you can re-install Hoster. Have you checked to make sure your MTU response didn't go to your spam or junk mail folder?

Re: MTU: won't respond to registration code issue

Well, I just looked through my email account for any response from MTU and could not find any. Maybe they are just swamped as I did not know about this issue so maybe others are in the same boat. I do hope they will respond soon. Thanks for your input.

If you are really in a bind, send in an Emergency Ticket.
