Your sound effects you will have to buy on-line or find some free ones. They can be wav, mp3, or wma audio files.
Hoster does not have a way to play music in between karaoke songs automatically. However you can set the program to Auto play instead of manual and add audio files in between your karaoke songs.

To have music playing between karaoke songs in a manner that seems automatic, buy and MP3 palyer, load it up with songs and run it through a seperate channel on your mixing board. Set the palyer to shuffle and let it run through the whole show turning it up on the mixing board when you want to hear the music and turning it down (off) when you have a singer singing karaoke. This is how I do it when I doing my acoustic act and it works great. Be sure the MP3 player has a full charge before every show.

Freddie,
Once you have your sound effect on your hard drive go to Tools > Instabuttons and set them up in Hoster. The instructions on how to set up your Instabuttons are in the Hoster Manual under Menus & Commands > Instabuttons. I hope this helps. Jim ![]()

Freddy, there are not very many free sound effect sites that i know of. Many years ago, when i was doing some production work for a college radio station. I went and purchased a few sound effect CD's. I still use these today. I use both of Dan O'Day's Dork-A-Pellas Volume 1 & 2. By U.S. Air Force Productions. Also i use All 3 of the "Cheap Radio Thrills" collection. And also the "Muscle Shoals Magic" Production Library. I also between singers play retro radio commercials, and old telivision theme songs. I open the evening, and introduce myself to the "Bugs Bunny Overture" makes for a fun evening, and never any "dead air" between singers. I use a Pioneer front loader for my sound effect cd's. All of the disc i have mentioned are 100% Royalty Free. The tel for U.S. Air Force Productions is 1-310-476-8111. These sell for around $100 a CD. George
