I've got PROBLEMS!!

After patiently trying all troubleshooting tactics to fix my problems, I am coming up EMPTY!! Since installing 4.04 on vista my lyrics are running way behind music on second screen. I've updated graphics drivers and card (nvidia) and still to no avail. 4.03 version had no problems and ran very smoothly. I've went thru all troubleshooting steps (and I mean all) and am having no luck.

If I sound stressed.... I am!! My very first karaoke gig is next week and I'm starting to freak!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure the Windows theme isn't set to Aero! Change it to Windows Classic. This could be a culprit.
Right click on the desktop, click on personalize, click theme. WHen the options come up, change to Windows Classic. See if that helps.

I almost there!

Lonman, I am about 95 % there. All the words are in time except the last line on the screen lags a little. Then the first line has to play catch -up. I dragged the screen to my monitor and reduced it to about 75% of the size and this seems to be working but would like to get a full screen. Thanks so much for your post at least I can stop losing my mind!

Lonman would be the best at working with you on this as he uses Vista. My suggestion would be to try dragging the Lyrics display to the TV and resize it as big as you can get it and still be in sync.

I was having the same problem in full screen (only single display however on my Vista tower), once I change the desktop theme to simpler theme, the lyrics were back in sync all the way in full screen mode.
Did you go through the steps I mentioned first?

lonman thank you for your assistance. I have done just about everything you mentioned and it has sped things up considerably. However, I still lag a little bit with the lyrics. When I double click the show display on my computer and it goes full screen it plays good but when I put that same display on a second monitor is when it starts to lag a bit.

That's because you are relieving the strain on your video by covering up the program. The video card no longer has to take care of the show display AND the program display. Vista takes a lot of video resources just to display an icon on your desktop display. I didn't notice, do you have a desktop or a laptop? You can try reducing the load on your video by backing off on some of the settings in your video card. Take the color down to 16-bit and try that. You can also lower the resolution a notch. Try dragging the corner of the singers window to fill the screen instead of double-clicking it. I feel like you are almost there. Just a couple more tweaks and you should have it.
