Hoster program locks up

When a song counts down to 00:00 the program locks up and must be shut down and restarted. If I hit the stop button before it counts down it works ok but the I must delete the song. Any suggestions?

Be sure you have all the "Custom" updates from Microsoft and particularly you need to have IE7 and SP3 installed.

Bob me and you are having the same problem. And I have all the current updates. and it still locking up if the counter hits 0:00.

I have all the updates and still have the problem. I changed back to version 3.4 and it works fine.

I had this problem tonight and would have to do a cntrl alt delete to get out of Hoster 4.0 and then go to 3.4, where I found out that there was still lead out time left on the song. The song in 4.0 showed 00 but I actually had time left on the lead out on 3.4
This was the case on every occurance of the lock ups.

I have done all the updates including redownloading v4.01. The problem has gotten better but it still exists. I love the new features in the program but this is getting frustrating. I hope someone can come up with a hix to this!

I have tried everything I can think of to solve this problem. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

I seem to be having the same problem, had to switch back to 3.40 Saturday night I couldn't get the 4.01 to stop locking up after the song reached 00. I also had the problem of the song skipping while doing a search.
I took some time tonight to try and duplicate the problems useing the songs that I was playing at the time of the problem.
The same song locked up only when I had the search window open.
and the song skipping only happens while doing a search, sometimes after doing 3 consecutive search, but once it happened on the first search I did. I even tried closing the search window after each search, but that didn't work either.
Hope these problems can be worked out I like the features and the ease of use.

Next release should be out very soon. A lot of the things you guys are reporting have been fixed and tested along with some more problems we (beta testers) have reported. They are working right now with the last issues and should be ready to release soon.

Had the same problems over the weekend at my show. Hoster would periodically lock up after song concluded. I could restart hoster and not lose my rotation. Thought it might have been Rhapsody or Media player causing the problem, but i continued to lock up after I stopped using both programs.

can't wait for the fix, my singers like the new database list. One of my regulars commented how this will allow him to stop using his own songlists.

I,m still haveing the same problem with locking up at 0.00. Have XP and 4.02 and all suggested updates. In reading all the other threads it sounds like you have the fix figured out comming in 4.03. Keep up the great work guys. If we all hang in there we'll get it right. Thanks for all your efforts. The end result will be worth it. By the way, everything else is working great!

I am still having the hang ups. Also when I click on tools and try to go to options at the bottom it stops and nothing happens. I have all the updates and a MTU laptop 1 yr old (Durabook).
