trying to download 4.06
I sent support a ticket that i had removed Hoster from one laptop, which I did online, and would be removeing it from another as soon as new laptop arrived. well it arrived and now hoster says i have it installed on too many computers. I own 2 copies of hoster and as of right now have it only on 2machines. one i am going to keep as 3.1? one 4.05 on a desktop i am going to remove it from, after installing on my new XP laptop.

Which version did you remove?
Isn't your license for version 4 an upgrade? If so to install on a new computer you will have to install the version 3.?? then upgrade to 4.06. Upgrade license requires the previous version being on the computer before you can upgrade to the new one.

I removed 4.0? from a dell laptop yesterday,(using the download link, than clicking on remove) sent in a support ticket stating that i was doing so. My new laptop came today and Hoster will not let me download the 3.?? version that I need to install before I attempt to install 4.03 and than 4.06. if you remember and I don't expect you too, my download code has been crossed through, but you told me to try anyway, and it worked. I tried both of the numbers this time. I have sent in support tickets and the only response I have ever gotten, was their acknowledgment that my tickets were received.

I don't understand. When you click on a download button you have the options to RUN, SAVE or CANCEL. Click on SAVE and give it a location on your computer to save it to. What is so hard about that?
How many tickets they get a day (I have no idea but know it was high for a long time) is not the problem. They have a backlog of tickets which is why they have not been able to get to them that fast. There is only one person working Support and not everyone needs just a reset. Not sure what you are doing to get the download. Go to the MTU website, click on the Support button up top. Look in left column for download links and click on it, then click on the link for Video Hoster. Scrool down and you will see a version 3.321 version with a download button. Click it and download it.

In another thread you stated that you never got an answer on two tickets you submitted. Did you ever go back in and check the status on them?
When did you submit this last ticket? MTU is running about a week or so behind on tickets right now because of Hoster and Vista.

Dale, I'm sorry, I can't wait a week or so for MTU to get to this. I need this ASAP. I have Halloween Gigs this weekend I have to do.

dale this is what Hoster says it is supposed to do
""Installation & Security Video Hoster can install on your show computer AND a backup computer any number of times, for a total of TWO (2) computer installations, while the new QUAD product installs on 4 computers.
