hoster 503.09 closes and looses singers list

I installed 503.09 . runing on windows 7 with 4 gig ram. when the program closes or i close it i lose my singers in the list, older versions of the program do not do this. is there a setting i need to check or uncheck to keep this from happening, not good when you have 20 people in the list and the program closes loosing all singers and songs. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: hoster 503.09 closes and looses singers list

First I take it you are referring to the playlist on the main page.
Do the songs in the playlist play OK ?

No there are no settings for this, it should do as you say remember the songs list before closing.

Some things you could try first:
1) from the top menu File tab select open, do you see files there with an .hst extension ? If so click on one and see if you get a Playlist open.
If you do get a playlist open does it return when you close and re start Hoster ?

2) If when you select open there are no files with a .hst extension, first make sure you have some songs in the list then from the file menu select "Save as" in the dialog that opens in the save in window navigate to your C:/MTU/Hoster folder, type in a name to save the file as in the bottom window and press save. Now close Hoster and restart Hoster, is the list still empty ?
If it is still empty then something has gone wrong with your upgrade.

I would try re-downloading installing Hoster again to see if this solves the problem if not report it in the Hoster 5.03 bug reports thread :http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?t=12765

If you wish to return to your previous version till this problem is sorted you will have to delete your Hoster songs.mdb and rebuild your database after replacing your previous version as this new database may prevent the older version opening
