new plextor 52x and upgrade

recently purchased a new 52x plextor
and also downloaded new upgrade for free since i had purchased within alloted
time frame.microstudio does not regonize
new plextor and also does not look any
different than the older version.could there be something wrong with my upgrade? if so pls send me a new download thread. thx hatman
