Thumbs up Hoster Works with Vista Premium

I purchased an HP 9230 with Vista Premium today.

I downloaded 3.315 without any problems, copied my .kma files from my old desktop, then rebuilt my songbook.

It works perfectly great!!!!

Good job in getting it out so fast!!!

This problem is something on your system is not allowing the _mtu.dll to load, which is used by the installshield.

What I would try doing is clear all your Temp Folders out, then try the installation again. To me it sounds like something in the Temp Directory is not allowing this file to load or be copied correctly.

Open My Computer or Windows Explorer. Find the following directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional

Now Delete this Professional directory, completely from your system. Then try running the installation again.

Let me know what this does.

If that still does not work, then try deleting everything in this folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield

So this would delete all files under this. These are the items that they state to try on Installshield's website.

There is something in your system that is messing this up. This is what it states to me on Installshields website about this problem. They said its fixed by doing what I just told you above.

Its not a vista problem, but something with your OS.

When you installed Vista, how did you install it? Did you reformat your computer and do a clean install or did you upgrade from Windows XP?

If you upgraded, most likley this is your problem, and you would have to reformat your hard drive and then reinstall Windows Vista as a Clean Installation.

Angry to admin wont install on my vista buisness laptop

i really hate to ask this question but if this program does not work for me, then what is your return policy?

i really liked this program after using it on a freinds computer, and thought it would be great for me as well .

unfortunately it seems that its not going to work on my laptop.

i really wish it would .

i was loking forward to the ease of use that this program brings to karaoke.

if there is any more tech support that you can proivide me to get this going it would be greatly appreciated.

other wise please reply with the information to my first question in this message.

thanks,
jay taylor
