Try upgrading to version 3.310 and have additional data resources for CDGs through FreeDB. Check the "News" page of the main website.

I have the latest version. I also did a update last night before I started installing discs. There are quite a lot of discs that are not in the database that are from 05 releases. I was able to get some from the site but not all. I will get back to you with the brands.
BTW, Anyone know of the Xtreme brand? I have there 10 disc broadway pack, not on other database i.e. fast tracks v2. Lots of typing.
Thanks, Mark

I looked on the internet with two major Karaoke databases and they don't list Xtreme brand. I found out on another search they are made by Legends. http://www.karaokewh.com/item_detail...81&tracking=34 Maybe this will help you. There are so many new Karaoke disc company's out there I don't see how any one can keep up with them.

The database has the information that it will have in it. This is it, it probably won't be updated anymore.

The updates will go into FREE DB, once someone types them in, they would be submitted to them. This new version does not yet do this, but it is in the spec to come.

To add to Bryan's post, until Hoster is set up to submit new information to FreeDB we can all help each other by subscribing to FreeDB and submitting any new disks we have. This way the everyone else won't have to type in all that information. The link is http://www.freedb.org/
Just be sure to check your information before you submit it, so we don't get a lot of errors when we use it.

Yeah, I know about errors. The Motown original artist set is all messed up in Hoster and Fast tracks databases. I will send any I find to FreeDB. Thanks, Mark

If you'll watch real close there are a lot of CDG discs that the actual order of the songs on the disc do not agree with the published info in the MFG's advertising.

I read once somewhere on these forums that this was intentional to prevent database marketers from simply copying and pasting from CDG on line listings and creating an accurate database.

Don't know how true that is, but it makes sense, and I've noticed on more than one occassion the disc order of songs was different from the catalog or on line listing.
