The file is in the Program Files section for Hoster and is called mtus.wmv. You might try playing it directly in Media Player and see if it can play it without crashing. If it either can't play it or WMP crashes then it may be a corrupted codec for the WMP.
You may also have XP set to reboot on error which will cause it to reboot anytime somethhing causes an error instead of just showing you the error. This can be turned off in the Control Panel/System/Advanced/Start-up and Recovery Settings.
You could have run the Repair from the XP install disk and fixed the Boot.ini file along with others. But reloading didn't hurt either.

I wonder if this has anything to do with a slight problem I mentioned a while back on opening. My computer would open up the main screen and I would see the hoster.wmv open up in the preview window, then I would get a "Hoster must close" error a few seconds later (just before my logo would normally show up).. The error info said something about "wmp" in it. However, the crash was very infrequent, but I still get it ince in a while. I use wmp 11 on XP sp3.
