XP rocks... Vista is a problem child. Stay XP as long as you can. One day Microsoft MUST fix all the Vista complaints, but currently they aren't even at SR1!
If you have the Hoster demo, read the manual on your questions. I think you'll find most of the answers.
We DEFINITELY are doing Show Rotation as a Tools menu Mode switch command. Disabled you use the standard Playlist. Enabled you get Rotation with Singer slots, multiple songs per slot (add all when they come in, or as they make requests).
We DEFINITELY are doing Singer's Database. You... the Host... decide what name you call each singer. If you have 10 "Bob's", good luck! You decide what to call them. You'll be able to assign a Singer's name to a slot in the Rotation, then - If I get my way (usually do
) - if you search for that Singer, when you add a song from their list it'll automatically go to their slot, placed at the bottom of their slot order. You'll be able to move songs within a slot, and move slots in the Rotation. How else will you let a new singer in?
