Yes, I feel there is a big difference...here's why... Hoster is needed to run KMA files. Most of the people who will download songs for free off the net will not be willing to pay $299 for Hoster. And since MTU has used an excellenct (although sometimes a bit picky) copy protection using the MACID there shouldn't be any free/bootlegged copys of Hoster. Therefore, the demand for KMA files will not be there for people to share. Or at least not in the quantites as MP3s are. You may get some users of Hoster sharing files, but from what I have seen on the forum here most of the users against sharing and prefer to get songs the legal way, by buying them. Most KJs/DJs that have been around awhile (and plan to stay around) will continue to get the songs legally. From the very beginning of Hoster, the format of songs and copy protection measures, have been taken into account. Whereas with MP3s, it was designed as a small format to be easily downloaded off the net. Two very different things indeed. Right now, the demand for it isn't there, not saying that in a couple of years or so it won't be, but I have faith in MTU, and am convinced they will continue to proceed in a way that will limit this illegal sharing of files. Yes, file sharing will occur, but it won't be the widespread plague that MP3 sharing is. Just my opinion...
