Will you be updating the drivers to the new version so it can be used in any cd-rom because other wise i think i wasted the money to buy the new one if it does not work

I Purchased Microstudio upgrade 2.517 and i can not seem to figure out how to get my cdroms to show up when i want to copy a cdg cd. it says no for karoke and i do not know how to fix...
