I'm pretty sure nobody has tampered with it. The hard drive is hot plug so I take it with me when I leave the system setup on site. Plus there are boot passwords. Somebody would have a very hard time...

No I have not reinstalled yet. After reboot there were no apps running until I started Hoster. I have a another show at the same place tonight. I going there this afternoon to look at the computer...

Got it!!!
Seems that reinstalling the sound blaster live drivers done it. Works with 2.4 and with 2.506. Thanks for giving me the idea where to look. It is working great. Still not sure what the problem was....

Works Fine With Windows 2000
A bit more information. Installed Windows 2000 pro on same hardware. Only difference is a smaller hard drive (wanted to keep the XP config) Microstudio works great.
