my laptop freezes up every time i download the new microstudio i'm using plextor px-w4824a xp pro when i try to import cdg disc the plextor dose not close and a prompt comes up please insert disc . not a happy bunny gone back to previous copy and it works perfect so it's not the laptop or my plextor hope someone can help :f

you must close the plextor drive yourself. it no longer closes by itself.

Moved to Microstudio Help Forum. We'll look at this next week after we are off Vacation. :w

thanks for the answer to that part of my question now the problem is when i close the draw and go to read disc the hole program and my laptop freezes up and can't shutdown:?
As before iv'e gone back to my old microstudio and it works perfect:?

Have you checked for Windows updates?

Is the Firmware for the Plextor drive the current version?
(Should be Version 1.07 if I looked it up right.)

Since this was a major upgrade for Microstudio including the changes to add more drives that is where I would look first for problems.
