No lyrics display with 4.02
I am running everything off my Dell C640, in previous versions, I had no problems, I downloaded all the updates required and then downloaded 4.0. I could never get it to work no matter what I did. I downloaded the 4.02 and now the program comes up, have a black display with white outlines on mysecond screen, but no lyrics show up when the song is cued, doesn't even show on my laptop screen in the monitor box. I'm sure I'm confused, not real computer savy, but the 3.4 has worked great, no problems at all. I DJ 3 nights a week at a club and get alot of singers and would like to use this new program, HELP LOL

At this point as long as 3.4 is working stick with it until 4.03 comes out. It is in Beta testing right now and a lot of the other problems have been fixed already. The Lyrics display is going back to using the original (same as 3.4) rendering code and getting away from WMP and Internet Explorer as this was/is not working right.
I know you said you have done all the recommended upgrades, but you also need to go in and do the Custom Updates from Microsoft. There may be some that you have missed that is causing your display to not show in 4.02. |
Lyrics Not Displaying
I have a fellow kj that I recommended this program to. He has purchased the program and no lyrics are coming up on second display. The marquee appears but no lyrics. He does not have a prior version to revert back to. What should he do?

Has he tried the 3.4 version to see if that will work?
Does he have Windows Media Player 11, Internet Explorer 7 and SP3 installed? Have all the Custom Updates been done from Microsoft update site? Quote:
