Hi Sam

Its the original MPG file that is bad, and creating a corrupt KMA file when imported.

Selmer,
Are you stating that this is what is causing your Audio Problem? A bad Mp3+G file before Importing it to a .kma.

Hi Bryan, I can't tell if the problem is due to the original Mp3-g file being corrupt, or if it is the .kma file when it is imported into hoster.

Here is what is happening I have HD file with for example 10 MP3-g files.

I import them using the HD import function.

I open Edit Songs, to tidy up and format the titles and artist, playing them one by one in the new screen.

If they do not play correctly (doesn't start at all, black screen or bad graphics) I delete the song (.kma).

However having done this the audio disappers on the next (and any other) songs.

The only way to get the audio back is to close hoster, and reset the wave balance in the control panel.

Something in the import process is kicking out the audio.

Does this help?

Selmer

Selmer,
Can you Email me one of these "Bad" mp3+g files, that show no graphics? This way I can try what you are doing and see what happens. Also when you state you are playing the file, is this in the Edit Songs dialog or the Playlist?

Selmer98 is stating that this is happening in the EDIT SONGS Menu upon using the N E W Play Feature on MP3+G HD Imported Songs.

FYI
I am using HDCDG Imported Trks and PLAYING them in the EDIT Songs Menu does not cause the WAV Level to change.

Same here...no problem with WAV level as a result of playing HDCDG from the edit menu.

Selmar, thanks for pointing out that you are DELETING the bad file after playing it in the Edit Songs. This is probably where the audio controller is being set to zero.

Would you verify that before you delete the bad file that other good files were playing fine, and the audio level was normal (not set to zero)? Let us know what your results are.

Yes I can confirm that prior to deleting the file, everything is Ok.
