Danny_G...Have Pentium 800 cpu and 128 meg ram, so that shouldn't be the problem. What I've experienced with both Vogone's is the key changer on both my Karaoke players will not only not work, but cuts the volume on both channels down to an almost inaudible level. Since I'm not the only singer involved it was more prudent to bite the bullet and do the cd's over without Vogone, and simply change the key when I need to. It's no big problem, as having never had satisfactory results on any vocal anyhow, never have a use for Vogone, except on instrumentals. Got messing around with Vogone either taking out the lead instrument, or substantially reducing it, with quite a degree of success. Where singing with, say a lead sax is almost impossible, in a great many(not all) cases Vogone will reduce the sax and it suddenly becomes accompaniment, not competition. Much more acceptable that another singer in the picture when making recordings. In some cases, the lead instrument has completely disappeared which was even better. It's also kinda fun to get the lyrics and arrange them to fit the score, and process through KHP. Now you have truly created your own cdg from scratch.
Well, enough of that. Take Care George |
