Greetings;

From the write Disc screen after writing Disc, how do I delete songs without deleting songs from database? When I click on song 1 and shift and click on the last song is deletes from database also. If I don't delete songs just build up on that screen. Any information on this subject would help. Thanking anyone in advance.

Highlight the track(s) in the WRITE DISC screen and click DELETE located just above WRITE CD.

That should only delete the track(s) from the Write Disc project, and not the database.

Hello George!:s

Thank you for your info on deleting. I lack all phases of computer knowledge so all help is welcome. After reviewing your answer it all made sense to me, not only on the write screen but on microstudio screen which now I know is a on going list of Database songs to choose from for write list. Thanking you again.:)

William,
You can also save the list....... read the write disk screen, and you will see a button there to allow this.

I do that if I am making a disk with a few songs on it. I save the list, then later add more songs till the disk is full. I do that to save taking 4 disks that are 1/4 full. I will just have on that is full.

Please do yourself a big favor, read the manual Microstudio has a lot of features, and it will at least make you aware of them, even if you dont use them.

:) Greetings gdums!

Thanks for the tip I would have never thought of saving songs until Disc was full or ready to write, Thanks again. Let me ask this, do you know when and where to apply keyrite on several songs but not all? I haven't used it as yet and would like to understand it better first.

Thank for you help

Bill, the key change is live while playing. It does not modify your files stored on the hard drive that you play. However, you could record an AUDIO ONLY .wav file of the song playing, and key change it... but not recommended.

Please don't get mad at me for posting this, but all this is explained in the manual. Many users fail to look at the manual before asking questions. :w

The MTU Keyrite program, which is different from Microstudio's live key change, can take files on the hard drive with lyrics/graphics, allow you to live key change them while playing, then save the key changed files INCLUDING lyrics/graphics to a new key changed .BIN file. You can then use this new file in Microstudio to play (without applying new live key change while playing).
