"singing Machine" Doesn't Read Graphic

I have backed up all my cd+gs (over1000) using microstudio &
Plexwriter and all work fine on my professional players. However,
a compilation disc I made for a friend does not display graphic's
on her Singing Machine, worked fine on my gear. Anyone have
an idea or solution? A sound choice backup worked fine on her
player. Can't figure why some display graphic & some don't.

Try writing the disc at a slower speed such as 1x or so as a test and see if that will play. Also, what type of media are you using? Some players must have different types of media for them to correctly play. Give that a shot and see what happens.

If your favorite retailer doesn’t carry The Singing Machine CD+G’s, let them know you want them to carry our brand. The benefit of carrying The Singing Machine CD+G’s is that you have multiplex recordings which separate out the lead vocals as a guide and background vocals with the music. From what I've run across, most of the time when a cdg manufacturer advertises CDG Multiplex, it's simply having the demo vocal on the same track as the background instead of duplicating the song with and without lead vocals. You then switch the vocal on or off, or depending on some players, turn the right channel down to get rid of the vocal. May not hold true 100%, but those I've seen are that way.

This has confused some people where Vogone is concerned because they truly believe that their $99.00 home player will completely remove vocals with the turn of a switch, and Vogone can't:w

What is the Model Number of your Singing Machine?

I have several different Singing Machines I use for Rental Units and never had any problem of them playing any brand or type of CD+G disc, even those made with KHP.

The Singing Machine was the very first Karaoke Unit on the market. Originally made by the Hal Roach Studio's in Hollywood, California. Was made to play background tracks for Professional Singers.
