Taking Snapshots with Fraps
I've seen a lot of you guys put snapshots of your screen in the forum. Makes good sense.
I've recently installed a program called "FRAPS", that I believe is designed to do that. However, I can't get it to work. It says that the F10 key is the hotkey for taking shots but nothing seems to happen when I do and I can't locate any screenshots anywhere afterwards. My Question: How does FRAPS work and how do I take screen snapshots and save them? I know I'm missing something here.

Maybe you need to post this to their support. Probably something simple. I personally use the builtin Print Screen and edit it in Paintbrush. It seems to work ok.

I remember using printscreen when only DOS was available (before windows), didn't know it was supposed to work with windows.
How does it?

I often make "how to" procedures for work. To get the open screen simply do an Alt Prt Scrn and I paste mine into Microsoft Word. Although it will paste into paint or whatever program you want to use. I have even pasted them into Photoshop. Just hold down Alt and hit the Prt Scrn button. Then go to a blank Word Document and hit Ctrl V to paste.
