With the Title page enabled, music starts 15sec in.

Hi Guys.

I do apologize that I\'m posting this question again. I forgot to load the video recording of my situation.

Whats happening:
* It takes 15sec for the music intro to finally start.

* 11sec for the Title page to load and disappear.
* 4sec more and finally the music intro starts.

* Total of 15sec till music intro starts.

The only way I know to have the music start straight away is to NOT ENABLE the \"Title page\".

My Question.
\"Is there any way to have the music start earlier? For example, when the Title page is either loading or disappearing?

I\'ve seen 1000\'s of other karaoke songs do this. I would really appreciate an answer either way if it is possible with KHPro.

Just discovered I can\'t upload a video??:

Thanx guys.

Lani.

Re: With the Title page enabled, music starts 15sec in.

In the instructions it states:
(If clicked checkbox Enable this page is checked, the Title Page that you define appears before the song lyrics start. It adds silence for 10 seconds plus the Hold: time to delay the music and lyrics so the page can be viewed. It may overlap the starting music if the lyrics start after the musical introduction.)

My own testing on a song I tried I reduced the Hold Time to Zero
And the music started within a second of starting the song.
I did not use a graphic on the start screen just text.
The music is full vocal I did not reduce vocals on this sample.
What version are you using?

The other point is when playing in Hoster you can set to remove silence on all songs that have been imported into the database.

Hi Roy.

Are you back on board with MTU? Fantastic news if you are!

I\\\'m using Ver. 5.10. I\\\'v been using this on an old computer for 15yrs plus and still using it. I\\\'m right in the middle of trying to transfer it to another laptop.(I was reading your old posts today on how to do this.)

Thank you for explaining why it takes anything from 10 to 15-16sec until the music plays. Now I understand. Thank you.

I did the same test without my \\\"Logo\\\" graphic, and yes, it started immediately.

I like how you did yours. Very nice layout & color choices! Thank you for uploading it.

Welcome back Roy!

Re: With the Title page enabled, music starts 15sec in.

Another thing I thought of, if the music file your using has silence in it that will also contrbute to the time.
Perhaps recording or editing that out before loading into khpro would help speed up the track.
Just a thought.
For your information, I packed up doing karaoke but still look in on the forum,.
I only answer if no one else does or if I think I have a solution no one else has thought of.
Plus not using the software for some years tend to forget how to use it
